Plastic Free @Sea was developed by leveraging our century-old knowledge of water management for the maritime industry. This alternative allows shipowners to not only reduce their ecological footprint, but also to save costs.
Plastic Free @Sea is based on robust, contact-free bottle filling stations/coolers with built-in filtration, to which it is possible to add POU treatment if needed. By equipping crews and passengers with reusable bottles, the need for single-use plastics is fully eliminated. This ensures reliable and safe drinking water on board anywhere, anytime, while also making life easier for the crew. With no need to order, store, or dispose of plastic bottles, operations become simpler, faster, and more efficient.

The Hatenboer-Water Maritime Water Bottle Filling Station delivers a clean quick water bottle fill and enhances sustainability by minimizing the dependency on disposable plastic bottles. Complete cooler and bottle filling station in a countertop space-saving design. The bottle filler is connected directly to the water pipe.
- Push-button or sensor-activated.
- High-performance compressor and insulation greatly reduce energy consumption.
- Cooling capacity of 30 ltr/h (8 gph).
- Laminar flow provides clean fill with minimal splash.
- Sparkling water provision optionally available.
- Supply of CO2 bottles is not part of Hatenboer-Water’s scope of supply (counter-top version only).
